160 Room Hotel with First Floor Retail

Horizon Construction Group, Inc. recently completed construction of the new Aloft Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. Located in the Park East corridor at the corner of Old World Third Street and McKinley Avenue, the five story, 160-room Aloft will offer guests state-of-the-art, contemporary accommodations featuring loft-inspired design. The hotel will include numerous service amenities such as a bar/lounge, food service and breakfast areas, meeting rooms, swimming pool, exercise equipment, and an outdoor patio with river views. The hotel will share the first floor with an 8,000 square foot retail suite and enjoy lively urban energy only blocks from the Bradley Center and other downtown venues. Construction on the hotel began in November 2008 and is scheduled to be finished by November 2009.
