Prior to the renovation, The Holy Mother of Consolation Church parish hall was a dark, sterile and uncomfortable basement space. Horizon was brought in to turn the parish hall into a warm, welcoming space to serve many church functions. The parish renovation committee requested the space be renovated to "feel like you were walking into a living room, rather than a basement." The renovation included adding audio/visual components, tray ceilings, carpentry, floor tile, extensive woodwork, new lighting and electrical service, fire safety, HVAC, cabinetry and kitchen improvements.
