Alta Mira II - February 2010

Construction of Alta Mira II, affordable senior apartments for those 55 and better, is going right on schedule with plans to open the doors to our first residents by August 2010. Alta Mira II at North Hills will have 57 spacious and comfortable one-and-two bedroom apartments of various styles to choose from. Each of the apartments will have either a private balcony or a patio. A washer and dryer or washer/dryer hookups are also included, depending upon the apartment you select. Also included for your use at no extra cost is a beautiful community room with a fireplace and a full kitchen, coined laundry facilities, exercise room, high speed internet service and complimentary heated parking for one vehicle. Applewood III - December 2009

Excitement is building as Applewood III at 3225 Pennsylvania in Dubuque progresses. The basement floor is poured, the first floor walls are framed and ready for the second floor as crews fight to work through the first snowstorm of the season. Leasing is off to a strong start with 22 of the 43 apartments reserved for a 2010 move-in. Word of mouth and the reputation of Applewood I and II has been the driving force behind the early success of leasing. A November informational meeting started the advertising efforts followed by a “get to know your future neighbor” gathering for those on the wait list and their interested guest(s). Future meetings will be held after the holidays and a Spring front page article in the local senior paper should keep interest high for the remaining apartments and future wait list applicants.
